Moon Miniature Necklace inspired by Georges Méliès

This little pendant shows the landscape of the moon shortly after the scientists land on it with their rocket. It is based on Georges Méliès' “Le Voyage dans la Lune”, a wonderfully surrealistic short film from 1902.

This listing is for a pendant with a diameter of 20mm/0.07”. Included is a stainless steel chain in 45cm.

I’ve termed these little glass globes biospheres, as each of them hosts a little environment, which in this case is a meticulously crafted surface of the moon sculpted from polymer clay and adorned with tissue paper rocks. I added a sturdy glass cap so you can wear this little critter around as you go about your day. There is a possibility of parts to break, if it gets dropped or shaken too much. So please be gentle with it.
