Numfor Kingfisher - one of a kind miniature diorama jewelry

This little glass cage hosts a tiny Numfor Paradise Kingfisher, usually only found on its namesake island. It is a beautiful bird colored in an almost electric blue hue and a funny white tail.

This listing is for a pendant in the form of a glass cylinder which measures approximately 18mm by 27mm/0.07 by 0.1” with a wooden base. It can be bought as a pendant for a necklace with a brass chain in various sizes.

I’ve termed these little glass globes biospheres, as each of them hosts a little environment, which in this case is a tiny kingfisher sculpted from polymer clay and painted with acrylics. Its environment is made from swirled resin paint and twigs. I added a sturdy glass cap so you can wear this little critter around all day. There is a possibility of parts to break, if it gets dropped or shaken too much. So please be gentle with it.
