Tanuki sleeping after getting drunk - miniature pendant for fans of Japanese mythology
€79.00
This pendant shows a Tanuki snoozing after it polished off a bottle of sake. Tanukis or racoon dogs are shapeshifters in Japanese mythology and use their powers to get booze from humans. Other than Kitsune they are tricksters rather than dangers and are often depicted with their more *ahem* mature attributes as a symbol of wealth.
This listing is for a pendant with a diameter of 20mm/0.07”. Included is stainless steel chain in various length options.
I’ve termed these little glass globes biospheres, as each of them hosts a little environment, which in this case is a tiny tanuki sculpted from polymer clay and delicately handpainted with acrylics. I added a sturdy glass cap so you can wear this little critter around as you go about your day. There is a possibility of parts to break, if it gets dropped or shaken too much. So please be gentle with it.
With the purchase of this you are buying handcrafted with lots of love.
This little pendant comes in my signature packaging.
