lilac kingfisher - one of a kind miniature diorama jewelry

This little glass cage hosts a tiny Lilac kingfisher (also known as Sulawesi lilac kingfisher). Who, due to its bright red eyes looks almost maniacal. It is found in Indonesia.

This listing is for a pendant in the form of a glass cylinder which measures approximately 18mm by 27mm/0.07 by 0.1” with a wooden base. It can be bought as a pendant for a necklace with a brass chain in various sizes.

I’ve termed these little glass globes biospheres, as each of them hosts a little environment, which in this case is a tiny kingfisher sculpted from polymer clay and painted with acrylics. Its environment is made from swirled resin paint, twigs and modelling snow. I added a sturdy glass cap so you can wear this little critter around all day. There is a possibility of parts to break, if it gets dropped or shaken too much. So please be gentle with it.
