Miniature Space Necklace - lady in the moon - inspired by Georges Méliès

This lovely lady sitting in the moon is based on Georges Méliès “Le Voyage dans la Lune”, a wonderfully surrealistic short film from 1902, this little pendant is a wonderful testament to the curiosity of humankind.

The bulb measures approximately 30mm/1,18”, the base measures 36mm/1,18”. Included is a gold-plated box chain in various different length options.

I’ve termed these little glass globes biospheres, as each of them hosts a little environment which in this case is a meticulously sculpted beautiful lady sitting on a crescent moon. The backdrop is painted in watercolour. I added a sturdy glass cap so you can wear this little critter around as you go about your day. There is a possibility of parts to break, if it gets dropped or shaken too much. So please be gentle with it.
