Scarletina Bolete – miniature pendant for mushroom lovers

This pendant shows a character inspired by the Scarletina Bolete. This mushroom has an orange colouring and when cut turns dark blue. It has been rumoured to be poisonous but when cooked it retains its original yellow colouring and is quite tasty.

This listing is for a pendant in the form of a glass cylinder which measures approximately 18mm by 27mm/0.07 by 0.1” with a wooden base. It can be bought as a pendant for a necklace with a brass chain in various sizes.

I’ve termed these little glass globes biospheres, as each of them hosts a little environment, which in this case is a tiny character sculpted from polymer clay and delicately handpainted with acrylics. I added a sturdy glass cap so you can wear this little critter around all day. There is a possibility of parts to break, if it gets dropped or shaken too much. So please be gentle with it.
